A synopsis of this novel can be found by clicking on the Title above the bookshelf at the top of the blog page. It is important for readers to understand that I made a substantial effort to not take either a ProLife or ProChoice position when using the abortion theme as a backdrop of this story. Neutrality on such a controversial topic is very difficult, but I believe that regardless of your political or moral position, the reader will find support in the words and actions of the book’s characters for whatever perspective they might have.
The statistics and brutal reality of this issue as outlined in the story represents the true world in which we live. As you will hear in future blogs, much of this novel is based on “true events”.
I look forward to sharing more as we prepare “EQUITY of EVIL” for print.
Probably the most quoted passage from Roe v. Wade, Justice Harry Blackmun writes: “We need not resolve the difficult question of when life begins. When those trained in the respective disciplines of medicine, philosophy, and theology are unable to arrive at any consensus, the judiciary, at this point in the development of man’s knowledge, is not in a position to speculate.”
